Delhi University invites applications for the posts of Professional Assistant and Semi Professional Assistant in its Central Library. DU has released advertisement for filling 45 posts of Professional Assistant and Semi Professional Assistant in Delhi University Library System, on contractual basis for 6 months.
Number of Posts : 45 (UR-25; SC-06; OBC-11; ST-03)
Pay Scale : Rs 16,500 Per Month for Professional Assistant & 13,900 Per Month for Semi Professional Assistant.
Age Limit: 35 Years (Relaxable for reserved categories)

| Professional Assistant | 28 | – M.Lib.Sc./MLISc/equivalent with 50 per cent marks/Master’s Degree in any discipline with 50% and B. Lib. Sc./ B. L. I. Sc. With 50% marks – Computer Science paper at Graduate/PG level/Six months computer science course. |
| Semi Professional Assistant | 17 | – Graduate in any discipline/any other higher qualification with 50% marks. – B.Lib.Sc./B.L.I.Sc. with 50% marks. – Course in computer application at Graduate/PG level/6 months Computer course. |
The University may conduct a written test for the above positions. Candidates will be shortlisted for Interview.
