Air India Express released notification for 41 posts of Examiner / Instructor / Check Pilot / Line & Trainee Captain.
Air India Charters Limited is a subsidiary of Air India Limited. It owns Air India Express which is a low-cost airline subsidiary of Air India with its hub in the Indian state of Kerala. It operates services to the Middle East and Southeast Asia and has about 100 flights per week.

Class – I Medical Fitness Certificate by DGCA, Government of India, which should be valid at the time of application & joining. (Candidates must have done their last Medical / Renewal within preceding 6 months / 1 year, as applicable).
a) For the post of CAPTAIN –
– Maximum Age limit for Permanent Employment will be 55 years. (Pilots should not have completed 55 years as on the date of joining).
– Pilots who have completed the Age of 55 years as on the date of joining, will be taken on a fixed-term contract basis for a period up to attaining the age of 65 years, subject to DGCA rules.
b) For the post of TRAINEE CAPTAIN – Contractual Employment
(subject to change into permanent employment on obtaining Command, as at 3 (A) above).
On appointment in AICL, the incumbent will be offered salary and perks commensurate as per industry standards.

The selection of the candidates will be based on Personal Interview. Candidates short-listed after Personal Interview will be required to undergo a Simulator Flight Proficiency Test. Psychometric Test will be conducted during the selection process. Followed by Pre-Employment Medical Examination (Candidates will have to bear the cost of the Pre-Employment Medical Examination).
