Age Limit: 38 Years for Specialist, 30 Years for Medical Officer and Boiler Operators, and 28 Years for Para Medical staff and Dumper Operator as on 1 October 2014. (Relaxation for reserved catagories as per Govt. Rules)
Consolidated pay during training period: Rs.8600 in first year and Rs.10,000 in second year for Attendant cum Technician(Trainee) and Rs. 10,700/12,200 for Para Medical Staff in First/Second year of Training.
Rs 250 for GEN/OBC for the post of Operator cum Technician Trainee and Medical Service Provider, Rs. 150 for GCEN/OBC for the post of Attendant cum Technician Trainee. Departmental candidates have to pay only Rs. 50 as processing fee.
Selection will be done by Written Test and interview of shortlisted candidates on the basis of performance in written test, except for the post of Specialist. Candidates applying for the post of Specialist will be directly interviewed and selected candidates will undergo Medical Examination before joining the organization.
All candidates have to submit application ONLINE through ‘Career section’ of SAIL website www.sail.co.in. Candidates must posses valid e mail id, scanned photograph and signatures. Payment can be made online using credit/debit card/internet banking. On successful transaction, registration slip will be generated with unique transaction number and application number which is to pe printed and kept safe for future requirements. Candidates can pay thier fee by SBI Challan also by visiting nearest SBI Branch.
