Indian Navy invites applications from unmarried Male candidates for grant of Short Service Commission in Logistic Cadre and unmarried male and female candidates for Short Service Commission in Education Branch and ATC Cadre of the Indian Navy, who fulfil the condition of nationality as laid down by the Government of India for Course commencing Jan 2016 at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerela.
The Indian Navy is the naval branch of the armed forces of India. The President of India serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy. The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), usually a four-star officer in the rank of admiral, commands the navy. The primary objective of the navy is to secure the nation’s maritime borders, India also uses its navy to enhance its international relations through joint exercises, port visits and humanitarian missions, including disaster relief.

The candidates will be issued call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) based on their performance in Degree Course. SSB interviews for the shortlisted applicants will be scheduled at Bangalore/Bhopal/ Coimbatore/Vishakhapatnam during Jul – Sep 15. SSB interview will be conducted in two stages. Stage I consisting of intelligence test, Picture Perception and Discussion Test. Stage II tests comprising of Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview lwhich will last for 04 days.Successfull candidates will thereafter undergo Medical Examination.
