Indian Air Force (IAF) has released an advertisement for recruitment against various Group ‘C’ posts to various stations/units in Central Air Command. The eligible candidates are to apply only for one post at one place only. The Indian Air Force is the air arm of the Indian armed forces. Its primary responsibility is to secure Indian airspace and to conduct Aerial warfare during a conflict. It was officially established on 8 October 1932 as an auxiliary air force of the British Empire and the prefix Royal was added in 1945 in recognition of its services during World War II.

Application forms duly typed on A-4 size paper as per the given application format are required to be addressed to the Air Officer Commanding/ Station Commander/ Commanding Officer of the place of vacancy at unit address of the place of vacancy in the chart. The envelope containing the application form should be marked clearly on the Top “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____"
Documents Enclosure –
1) Passport size photograph attested by Gazetted Officer duly pasted on application form.
2) Attested copy of date of birth certificate or Matriculation Certificate or School Leaving Certificate.
3) Certificate of SC/ST/OBC/PH issued by a competent authority.
4) True copy of Employment Exchange registration card, if any.
5) Copy of experience certificate.
6) Self-addressed envelope of size 23 cm X 10 cm bearing ` 25/- postage stamp.
7) Character Certificate issued by Gazetted officer or Principal of the School/College or Village Pradhan.
The selection process will comprise of written examination/interview to be held on 28 Jun 2015 by the respective AOC/Stn Cdr/CO.
