Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) , invites applications from Indian National for the posts of Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector, Senior Flight Operations Inspector and Flight Operations Inspector. DGCA has released advertisement for filling 32 posts of contactual Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector, Senior Flight Operations Inspector and Flight Operations Inspector.

Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector, Senior Flight Operations Inspector and Flight Operations Inspector vacancies in DGCA

Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) 05 55 Years

– Airlines Transport Pilot’s License issued by DCGA India with current Pilot In-Command rating on civil air transport aircraft.
– Experience of not less then 6,500 hours and not less then 5000 hours as Pilot -in Command on air transport aircraft.
– Holding the qualification of an examiner approved by Director General of Civil Aviation on civil air transport aircraft or qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defence services.
– Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency.

Desirable:
An open rating for all types of aeroplanes having all up weight not exceeding 5,700 kgs.

Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) 09 50 Years – An Airlines Transport Pilot’s License issued by DCGA India with current Pilot In-Command rating on civil air transport aircraft.
– Experience of not less then 6,500 hours and not less then 5000 hours as Pilot -in Command on air transport aircraft.
– Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency.

Desirable:
– Holding the qualification of an examiner/instructor approved by Director General of Civil Aviation on civil air transport aircraft or qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defence services.
– Open rating for all types of aeroplanes having all-up-weight not exceeding 5,700 kgs.

Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) 15 40 Years

– Airlines Transport Pilot’s License issued by DCGA India with current Pilot In-Command rating on civil air transport aircraft.
– Experience of not less then 6,500 hours and not less then 5000 hours as Pilot on air transport aircraft.
– Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency.

Desirable:
Holding qualification of an examiner/instructor approved by Director General of Civil Aviation on civil air transport aircraft/qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defence services.

Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter) 01 50 years

– Commercial Pilot’s License (Helicopter) issuedby DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command rating.
– Experience of not less than 3,500 hours and not lessthan 1,750 hours as Pilot-in-Command on helicopters.
– Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency.

Desirable:
– Holding qualification of an examiner/instructor approved by Director General of Civil Aviation on civil helicopter or qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defence services.
– CPL (H/C) with open rating for all single engine piston-type of helicopters having an all-up-weight not exceeding 1,500 kgs.

Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter) 02 40 Years

– Commercial Pilot’s License (Helicopter) issued by DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command rating.
– Experience of not less than 3,000 hours and not less than 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command on helicopters.
– Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency.

Desirable:
– Holding the qualification of an examiner/instructor/ check pilot approved by Director General of Civil Aviation on civil helicopter or qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defence services.

Pay Scale:

Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): Grade Pay of Rs 8900 in PB 4 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 6000 per hour for 70 hour per month and admissible Special Allowance. The total emoluments at the beginning of the pay scale will be Rs 5,99,330 (approx) per month.

Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): Grade Pay of Rs 8700 in PB 4 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 6000 per hour for 70 hour per month and admissible Special Allowance. The total emoluments at the beginning of the pay scale will be Rs 5,62,430 (approx) per month.

Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): Grade Pay of Rs 7600 in PB 3 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 4000 per hour for 70 hours per month and admissible Special Allowance. The total emoluments at the beginning of the pay scale will be Rs 3,74,250 (approx) per month.

Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter): Grade Pay of Rs 8700 in PB 4 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 2000 per hour for 40 hour per month and admissible Special Allowance. The total emoluments at the beginning of the pay scale will be Rs 2,22,430 (approx) per month.

Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter): Grade Pay of Rs 7600 in PB 3 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 2000 per hour for 40 hours per month and admissible Special Allowance. The total emoluments at the beginning of the pay scale will be Rs 1,74,250 (approx) per month.

How To Apply

Eligible candidates may submit application in prescribed format along with No Objection Certificate from present employer and up-to-date photocopies of Annual Performance Appraisal Reports for the last five years, a certificate from the employer(s) indicating accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency, alongwith Integrity Certificate and a statement of major/minor penalty, imposed if any, during preceding last 5 years be sent by the present employer(s), if applicable. The applicatons must be addressed to " Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Opposite Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi – 110003", latest by 16 October 2014.
