National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC), has released an advertisement for the recruitment of meritorious and knowledgeable Indian nationals for the post of Executive Trainee through GATE exam – 2015. NTPC wishes to engage 120 Executive Trainee in the disciplines of Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical and Electronics through GATE – 2015.
National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) is an Indian Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, engaged in the business of generation of electricity and allied activities. The headquarters of the company is situated at New Delhi. NTPC’s core business is generation and sale of electricity to state-owned power distribution companies and State Electricity Boards in India. The company also undertakes consultancy and turnkey project contracts that involve engineering, project management, construction management and operation and management of power plants.

Eligible and interested candidates will have to apply through online mode only by visiting the official website www.ntpccareers.net from 02.02.2015 to 03.03.2015.
Fee – Candidate belonging to General/OBC category is required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 150/- for which SBI has been authorized to collect the registration fee in a specially opened account (No. 30987919993) at CAG Branch, New. Delhi on behalf of NTPC. The SC/ST/PWD category candidates need not pay the registration fee.
Eligible candidates will have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)- 2015. Based on the GATE- 2015 MARKS and requirement, candidates will be short listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks in GD & Interview, before being considered in the merit list.
