Life Insurance of India (LIC), invites Online Applications from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment in different posts of Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalist). The recruitment drive is to fill up a total of 700 post of Assistant Administrative Officer.
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is an Indian state-owned insurance group and investment company headquartered in Mumbai. It is the largest insurance company in India. LIC offers a variety of insurance products to its customers such as insurance plans, pension plans, unit-linked plans, special plans and group schemes. Today,the LIC has 8 zonal offices, around 109 divisional offices, 2,048 branches and 992 satellite offices and corporate offices.

[NOTE] : Before joining as a Probationer, candidates will be required to give an undertaking to serve the Corporation for a minimum period of 4 yrs from the date of joining (including probationary period).
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the on-line test followed by a personal interview of short listed candidates and subsequent Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination.
Examination Procedure
On-line examination will be of objective type, multiple choices of 120 minutes (2 hrs) duration comprising of the following :

Desirous candidates can apply online only on www.licindia.in from 15-12-2015 to 05.01.2016 and no other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates will have to register step wise starting from 1) Application Registration; then 2) Payment of Fees; and lastly 3)Photograph & Signature Scan and Upload.
Fee – An amount of Rs. 600/- plus Transaction Charges is to be paid by the candidates belonging to General or any Un-reserved category. And Rs. 100/- plus Transaction Charges by SC/ST/PWD/Ex-SER candidates.
