Army Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has released a notification for the recruitment of SSC Officers (Medical Officers). Total No. of Post is 150. Applications are invited from Indian citizens both male and female, who have passed their final MBBS examination in first or second attempt only, for grant of Short Service Commission in the Armed Forces Medical Services. Interested & Eligible Candidates may apply online from 22 June to 21 July 2019.

| SSC Officers | 150 | (i) The applicant must possess medical examination included in First/Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of IMC Act 1956.
(ii) The applicant must have permanent registration from any state medical council / MCI. (iii) Candidates with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma recognized by state medical council / MCI / NBE can also apply. (iv) Only those candidates who have completed or are completing their internship on or before 30 June 2019 can apply. (v) Applicants who have taken more than two chances in final Prof MBBS (Part I&II) Examination are ineligible and hence need not apply. |
The candidate must not have attained 45 years of age as on 31 Dec 2019. |
Total emolument at minimum pay scale at the time of joining will be approximately ₹ 97,000/- pm.
Selection of the candidates will be based on Interview, Physical & Medical Standards Test. The candidates appearing for interview for the first time will be paid to and fro sleeper-class railway/bus fare.
Eligible Candidates may apply online through the official website i.e. www.amcsscentry.gov.in from 22 June to 21 July 2019. No other modes/means will be accepted. The following essential certificates/documents should be scanned and uploaded by the candidates:
(i) Passport Size Photograph (.jpeg, size up to 100 kb)
(ii) Scanned copy of Class X (Matriculation) Certificate / Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Corporation as a proof of date of birth (.pdf, size up to 200 kb)
(iii) Aadhar Card
A Fee of Rs.200/- will be charged from the applicants towards application processing.

My daughter qualified both interview and medical fitness in an interview for the past of medical officers in Armed Forces held in march 2018in in Ashwani Navy Hospital. But so far neither Appointment nor any information is being conveyed to the Appointees.
