The vacant seats of teachers in various degree colleges of the state will be filled by the end of September this year. Currently, more than 800 seats are lying vacant in Degree colleges.
National Higher Education Mission (Rashtriya Uchchattar Shiksha Abhiyan) RUSA has given time limit to the concerned authorities to prepare the DPR within 15 days.
Higher Education Minister Dr. Indra Hridyesh also gave important instructions in a meeting held in the headquater on Tuesday. Under RUSA, permission to the projects of three universities and 32 Degree Colleges has been given. The centre has granted over 100 crores for these projects.
The State Nodal Officer of RUSA Dr Satpal Singh told the centre has granted sum of 160 crore rupees. And the provision of 107 crore rupees has also been made for the year 2015-16.
