The vacant seats of 650 Assistant Professors in Government Degree Colleges in Uttarakhand will be filled by Guest Teachers. State Higher Education Minister Indira Hridayesh said that vacanct seats in Govt Degree Colleges will be filled on priority basis.
She said that the recruitment will be on temporary basis and may be grant permanent post in future. The qualification for the recruitment will be as per UGC norms and the complete recruitment process will be completed before starting of July-August session.

vacancy will be come soon but the question about salary, govt should recruit us on the basis of fixed salary not on the basis of period, contact teacher gets 35000 pm on fixed base then why we cant get salary on fixed base. after all govt
clearly state that the recruitment is as per 2009 ugc and ukpsc rules. govt should pay atleast 35000pm or promise to advertise vacancy on permanent base, otherwise we all remain guest to govt college, it is a dream to get permanent,
