Even engineering students and science graduates are quitting their respective to make a place for themselves in banking sector. Some banking companies hire professionals through campus recruitment, while other holds competitive exams to offer job opportunities in different banking units all over India.

How To Prepare For Banking Exams

If one is in the later years of graduation in any of the stream, it’s imperative that one must decide for his future career prospect.A logical caree decision to join banking sector will setlle you for life or will give you much wanted experience.So first, decide on the position that you want to join & be sure of fulfilling the criteria that is set for it. As it’s a career which canmake you the CEO of the organization from whom you are hoping to work with.Earlier aspirants used to prepare for bank exams while preparing on their own. Positions
Banking companies recruit professionals in three cadres of opportunities which are as follows
Clerk: The clerical duties include taking care of general branch banking duties such as interacting with customers, maintaining account/create reports or any work specified by banks.
Probationary Officer: Probationary Officer takes up assignments given by their managers. They gain exposure in operations & working of bank as trainee for a set probation period.
Specialist Officer: The specialist officers will work in specific departments like Engineering, Systems, Marketing, Management, Public relations etc

Start Early
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS)  organise examination for bank recruitments for the post of PO, Clerk and Specialist Officers. The question paper consist of questions pertaining to Reasoning, Quantitative aptitude or Numerical reasoning, English, General awareness & Computer knowledge. Since the PO & clerical exams is conducted twice a year & specialist officer once a year, one needs to start early preparations to make capital gain. Reputed Coaching Institutes are important in changing one’s frame of mind. Hence, coaching has become essential these days.
