State govt has sent letter to HRD ministry to include 910 Shiksha Acharya – Instructors as Shiksha Mitra in Uttarakhand primary schools. For the recruitment in primary schools there should be consent of HRD ministry. State also asked extension for necessary training of Shiksha Acharya till 31 Mar 2018.
State also asked HRD minitry for the creation of 872 primary teachers posts in 2013 flood affected districts. Govt also demanded some changes in eligibilty conditions for the new teachers posts in flood affected districts such as Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Champawat. The proposal also includes the change in necessary 30:1 students teacher ratio to 20:1.
