CM Harish Rawat announced one thousand lady constable will be hired within a year in the hill state. Besides this one lady sub-inspector will be appointed in every uttarakhand police station. The inclusion of 25 percent women will be made in PRD and Homeguard. An extensive plan has been made for the purpose at administration level.
Chief Minister Rawat made the joyous announcement on the occasion of Khirsu festival. CM said the state is going to have eight ITIs out of which three will be opened for only girls. The motive behind this step is to empower the women in technical field by giving them training.
The police department will now have 96 posts for Inspectors. Till now the discussion was in process of creating 83 posts. The police headquarter has now appealed to add 13 more posts of
On the recommendation of police headquarter, now 13 more posts of traffic inspector has been added. Which means now in TI department a total of 19 posts will be for the inspectors. The state is facing dearth of police inspectors. On account of which police department has sent proposal of starting recruitment of 83 posts. Along with it, the demand for ading inspector in TI department also came into light. Now the administration will declare a total of 96 posts of the inspector including both departments.
