Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Roorkee invites applications for recruitment of JRF & SRF purely temporary basis on contract under GAP / Ramanujan Fellow Scheme Project at CSIR-CBR. Interested candidates may appear in walk-in on 17th & 18th May 2016.

Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR-CBRI) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Science & technology, Govt. of India. It is amongst the foremost scientific and industrial research setups in the world. Having state of art infrastructure and scientific and technical manpower second to none, CSIR covers practically the entire spectrum of scientific and industrial R&D of national and international importance. This ranges from aerospace to ocean exploration, micro-electronics to structural and environmental engineering, smart materials to mechatronics,petrochemicals to synthetic biology and from robotics and micro-machines to drugs & pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals.

JRF – Project Field data collection and laboratory investigation 01 Rs. 25,000/- p.m. + HRA as per rule Candidate must have completed B. Tech. (Civil Engg.) with 55% marks and NET / GATE qualified 17.05.2016 ; Time : 8.00 A.M
JRF – Project Development of mathematical model for damage assessment of buildings 01 Rs. 25,000/- p.m. + HRA as per rule Candidate must have completed 1st Class BE / B. Tech. (Civil / Mechanical Engg.) with GATE / NET qualified OR 1st Class ME / M. Tech. (Machine Design / Structures / Dynamics / Vibration Engg.) OR 1st Class M.Sc. (Math) with NET (JRF) / GATE qualified 17.05.2016 ; Time : 8.00 A.M.
SRF – Project Wireless sensor network based Hardware & Software Structure for smart buildings 01 Rs. 28,000/- p.m. + HRA as per rule Candidate must have completed M. Tech. (Electronics & Communication) with 65% marks and 2 years experience in related area after B. Tech. (Electronics & communication 18.05.2016 ; Time : 8.00 A.M.

Selection Procedure

Selection process to the post will comprise an interview only. Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in interview.
