Indian Navy invites applications from unmarried Male candidates for grant of Short Service Commission as Pilot and male/female candidates as Observer in the Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for Jan 2016 Course at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala.

The Indian Navy is the naval branch of the armed forces of India. The President of India serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy. The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), usually a four-star officer in the rank of admiral, commands the navy. The primary objective of the navy is to secure the nation’s maritime borders, India also uses its navy to enhance its international relations through joint exercises, port visits and humanitarian missions, including disaster relief.

Educational Qualification

BE/ B Tech in any discipline with Physics and Maths at 12th standard. Minimum percentage in BE/B Tech for Pilot entry is 60% an for Observer entry is 55%. CPL Candidate must have a valid current CPL issued by DGCA (India).

Candidate can submit only Online (e-application) on the official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. Also print 2 copies of the online Application Form having the system generated Application Number. One copy of this Application Form is to be duly signed and mailed (posted) to the addess below. Application to be sent by ordinary post only. Speed post/courier and Registered post will not be accepted. Selection Procedure

Candidates will be issued call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) based on their performances in educational qualification. Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Navy) reserves the right to short-list applications and to fix cut off percentage. SSB interviews for short-listed candidates will be scheduled from Jun to Aug at Banglore.
