Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) has released an advertisement for the recruitment of Clerical cadre Posts in various participating organizations from all over India. Students and candidates can get an opportunity to become a part of IBPS as a clerk in its participating organisation. The examination will be two-tier based (preliminary and main).
IBPS has announced the dates for clerk exam and registration on its official website www.ibps.in. Each candidate will be intimated with the date and venue of the exam via a call letter, that will be available for download a few days after they register at the IBPS website.

Age Limit : Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 28 years but not earlier than 02.08.1988 and not later than 01.08.1996 (both dates inclusive)
Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the online test and interview taken together. Exam will be two tire. First is (Preliminary – 100 marks) and second is (Main – 200 marks). Both test based on Objective questions.
Duration – Preliminary examination -1 hr and Main examination – 2 hrs

Section 2 : Numerical Ability
Section 3 : Reasoning Ability
2)Main examination – 5 section

Section 3 : Quantitative Aptitude
Section 4 : General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry)
Section 5 : Computer Knowledge
Candidates are required to register themselves online through Bank’s website www.ibps.in. After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode as following as given below :
Online mode : The payment can be made by using debit card/ credit card/Internet Banking. Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply on-line much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date for depositing the fee / intimation charges to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability/ failure to log on to the IBPS website.
Application Fee :
Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates.
Rs. 600/- for all others (Gen. & OBC)
