Wards of Ex-Servicemen will get an opportunity to take free pre recruitment Army training camp in Dehradun and Almora. Department of Ex serviceman welfare, Deputy Training officer PC Gurung said that training camp will be started from 7 September. These free camps will be held at two center in Uttarakhand. In Garhwal region, pre recruitment camp will be at Dehradun and in Kumaon region, camp will be at Almora.
It will be the third training camp of this year. In 8 weeks candidates will learn every process of recruitment in Army. Apart from Physical training, wards of Ex-Servicemen will get education in subjects like Maths, English, History and General Knowledge.
Department of Ex serviceman welfare will provide army training to 500 candidates every year. Under this procedure every year 500 candidate will get selected, 250 from Garhwal and 250 from Kumaon region.
10th and 12th pass candidates may apply for this opportunity. Interested candidates can apply directly to District Sainik Welfare officer. Candidates have to submit all the educational certificates along with relevent documents in the department. After all verification of documents selected candidate will undertake training according to their related region.
Total 100 candidates will be selected for this pre recruitment army training camp, 50 each from a region.
