State Bank of India has released the notification for the recruitment of Assistants in Clerical Cadre. SBI has invites online/offline application for the vacancies of 5092 assistants in clerical grade from 26 May 2014 to 14 June 2014 through SBI official website www.sbi.co.in . In Uttarakhand circle, there are total 140 vacancies in SBI recruitment for assistant posts.

Candidates applying for assistants posts in clerical grade in SBI must have a Graduate degree from recognised institution. Final year candidates can also eligible to apply for above post subject to the condition that, if called for interview , they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation Examination on or before 31.08.2014.
Age Limit : 20 years to 28 years as on 1 May 2014 . Candidates born between 02.05.1986 and 01.05.1994 (both days inclusive ) are only eligible to apply .
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and interview. The test will be online objective type, consisting of (i) General Awareness (ii) General English (iii) Quantitative Aptitude (iv) Reasoning Ability (v) Marketing Aptitude / Computer Knowledge. The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi. Each test will be of 40 marks. For these objective type tests of total 200 marks candidates will be given acomposite time of 2 Hours 15 minutes .
Date of Written Examination : Tentative dates will be in month of July/August .

For SC/ST/PWD/XS – Rs 100/- (Intimation Charges only)
For Gen/OBC – Rs 450/- (Including Intimation Charges)
Candidates can apply for above posts through online or offline modes. For online and offline apply, candidates can register in SBI official website www.sbi.co.in & www.statebankofindia.com . After registration, candidates can pay fee through online or offline through system generated payment challan.
